Abstract:

The 9th IUTA AnalytikTag will take place on 10 November 2025 at IUTA e.V. in Duisburg and will focus on the key topics of laboratory digitalization and automation in the context of the model and demonstration laboratory FutureLab.NRW. In four themed sessions, renowned experts from industry, science, research, and routine laboratory practice will give impulse talks on current trends and developments shaping the digital transformation of laboratories. A comprehensive industry exhibition will accompany the event, offering participants the opportunity to learn more about innovative software and hardware solutions during breaks. The program covers practical experiences, cutting-edge projects, and forward-looking concepts from leading organizations and institutions. This event provides an ideal platform for professionals to exchange ideas, discover new technologies, and gain insights into the future of analytical laboratories.

Daniel Juchli

Head of the Laboratory and Research Informatics department at wega and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at the SiLA consortium.
With over 20 years of professional experience in both chemistry and computer science, Daniel speaks the language of both scientists and IT experts and can translate between the needs of users and the technical possibilities of IT systems.
Daniel is an expert in the digitalization of laboratories and manages projects for the selection, introduction or development of laboratory automation and IT solutions in the life sciences environment.
Since joining SiLA in 2014 as the SiLA Supporting Member representative for wega Informatik, he has played an important role in the development of the SiLA 2 laboratory liaison standard.
