Abstract:
The Swiss Biobanking Day 2026 is a national conference dedicated to biobanking, bringing together researchers, clinicians and biobanking professionals from Switzerland and abroad. Taking place on 30 November 2026 at Inselspital in Bern, the event celebrates the 10th anniversary of both Swiss Biobanking and the Liquid Biobank Bern. The program features keynote presentations, scientific discussions, poster sessions and international contributions covering topics such as digital transformation, ethics, governance and quality standards across the sample lifecycle. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit the Liquid Biobank Bern and learn about its automated and standardized processes for sample handling and storage.
