Abstract:
The nICLAS Forum 2026, LifeScience, Robotics & AI, brings together researchers, industry professionals, technology providers and decision-makers to explore how robotics and artificial intelligence are transforming life sciences and healthcare. Taking place on 20 & 21 October 2026, the event combines expert presentations and real-world case studies with hands-on workshops at the Cyber Valley campus in Tübingen (day 1) and Fraunhofer IPA in Stuttgart (day 2). Key topics include AI-driven drug discovery, automated sample handling, robotic laboratory systems, predictive toxicology and AI-supported cell analysis. Participants will gain practical insights into the maturity of emerging technologies, their real-world applications and the challenges of implementing them in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and diagnostic environments. The second day features interactive workshops on AI readiness, laboratory automation and robotics, allowing attendees to explore practical tools and approaches for their own organizations. By combining scientific expertise with industry experience and networking opportunities, the forum provides a valuable platform for collaboration and innovation. wega will participate in the nICLAS Forum 2026 to exchange ideas with industry experts and explore how digitalization, data integration and automation can shape the laboratories of the future.
