Abstract:
The AI in Pharma 2026 conference brings together pharmaceutical professionals, AI experts, technology providers and innovators to explore the practical applications of artificial intelligence across the pharmaceutical industry. The fourth edition will take place on 26 & 27 October 2026 at Novotel Kraków Centrum in Kraków, Poland, preceded by a student hackathon on 25 October. The conference program focuses on key topics including trustworthy and regulated AI, AI-enabled research and development, automation, generative AI, productivity and responsible AI adoption. Through expert presentations and discussions, participants will explore how AI can address real-world challenges and support innovation in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing. wega will participate in AI in Pharma 2026 to connect with industry experts and exchange perspectives on AI, digitalization and the future of regulated pharmaceutical environments.

The critical issue in AI diagnostics is not overall performance, but generalisability across heterogeneous populations. Without clinically rigorous and representative data, even high-performing models cannot be considered safe for real-world patients.
