What is EcoVadis and why does it matter?
EcoVadis is a globally recognized sustainability assessment platform that evaluates companies using an evidence‑based methodology. It assesses how organizations manage sustainability across four key pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
For wega, engaging in the EcoVadis assessment process provides a structured framework to benchmark our practices, increase transparency toward our partners, and support the continuous development of our sustainability approach.
As part of its ongoing commitment to responsible business practices, wega evaluates its sustainability performance through EcoVadis.
This third‑party, evidence‑based evaluation enables wega to benchmark its sustainability practices across all core sustainability areas. Participating in the EcoVadis rating and reassessment process represents an important step toward greater transparency and structured sustainability benchmarking over time.
These assessments provide valuable insights into existing processes and helps identify areas where we can further strengthen our environmental, social, and ethical practices. It also supports wega in aligning sustainability expectations with customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
