Abstract:
The PharmaLab Congress 2026 will take place from 23 - 25 November at the darmstadtium in Darmstadt, Germany, bringing together laboratory professionals from analytics, bioanalytics and microbiology. Over three days, the congress offers a broad program of parallel conferences combining scientific content, practical insights, expert presentations and opportunities for discussion and networking. Key topics include laboratory optimization, automation and digitalization, artificial intelligence in laboratories, GMP compliance, analytical lifecycle management and emerging approaches in microbiology and bioanalytics. Dedicated sessions also address areas such as mRNA/LNP quality control, cell and gene therapies, bioassays and the analytical control of biological drug substances and products. Lukas Graubner
Lukas Graubner is a Senior Consultant and Subject Matter Expert for Enterprise Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) at wega Informatik AG, Switzerland. In this role, he supports companies in selection, implementation, installation, configuration and validation of chromatography data systems. Business-oriented technical support of the customer as well as consulting for the most efficient use of the chromatography data systems are part of his core tasks as well as the development of data structure and user management concepts.
Lukas worked for a well-known manufacturer of chromatography equipment and chromatography data systems for more than 15 years. First in the position as service engineer for chromatography instruments and then as support specialist and project manager for enterprise chromatography data systems. Before a technical, analytical laboratory education laid the necessary foundation.
Due to his experience, he is able to understand the needs of the analyst, the quality managers as well as the IT managers and to provide appropriate advice and support.
Mathias Fuchs
Matthias is a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, IT Consultant and since 2011 co-host of the non-profit Swiss ICT event series: "Agile Breakfast Basel".
Mathias has been working on a variety of agile topics for several years. In particular, the reasons for the success and failure of agile transitions are an important area of research and interest for Mathias.
He has successfully led several agile workshops and is a speaker at conferences on agile topics.
Sebastian Gross
Dr. Sebastian Groß is a consultant at wega Informatik (Deutschland) GmbH, specializing in smart laboratory automation, instrument integration, laboratory digitalization, and data management.
With a background in biotechnology, he combines a deep understanding of biological systems with strong technical expertise. During his PhD, he designed and built a high‑throughput bioprocess development platform, developed mechanistic bioprocess models, and integrated both into an autonomous screening system.
Since joining wega in November 2021, he has focused on enabling efficient, connected, and intelligent laboratory environments. His work centers on integrating robotics, digital workflows, and data‑driven decision‑making to advance modern lab operations and support organizations on their path toward Smart Labs.
